Having an organized space can make all the difference in your daily life, and this holds true for your art space too. There are several reasons why it's important to have an organized space. One, an organized space helps organize the mind, and keep distractions to a minimum, and boosting levels of creativity. Two, you know where everything is. If you know where everything is, feelings of confusion and frustration will greatly diminish. Three, being organized will promote productivity and will help with time management.
There are many ways to stay organized, no matter the space. One, place together like items. for example, place acrylics with acrylics, chalk with chalk, etc. Keep groups of things together so that you know exactly where to go when you need a specific material. Two, eliminate clutter. Get rid of garbage and unusable items, or items that you don't use. This will open up space for more items, and help keep distractions to a minimum. Three, write down deadlines and dates. Keep track of what you need to do so that you're not left scrambling. There are many ways to stay organized, and everyone organizes differently.
"Having a clear mind and a clear space, allows you to think and act with purpose."
